At Waikiki Dive Center, we’ve been all about creating unforgettable experiences for our diving community, and our recent Insta360 event was no exception! Partnering up with the talented @oceangalz and @insta360, we hosted an action-packed day that combined adventure, creativity, and community. The day kicked off with a workshop on how to use the new Insta360 x 4 cameras, and then we went off to dive the iconic shipwreck Navy Tug, where we teamed up with some incredible freedivers to capture stunning underwater footage using the Insta360 cameras. After surfacing, we followed up with an editing workshop that gave everyone the chance to learn how to transform their dive footage into cinematic masterpieces. And of course, we wrapped up the day with some delicious pizza and great company, celebrating a successful event and the incredible memories we made together.
On another note, we’re thrilled to announce that we’re now offering exciting new dive opportunities every Sunday! Weather and conditions permitting, we’re diving to both the Navy Tug and the stunning Ewa Pinnacles—perfect for both scuba divers and freedivers looking to explore these beautiful underwater landscapes. Whether you’re a seasoned diver or new to the sport, these dives are sure to impress!
If you’re looking for something a little different, don’t forget about our Sunset Whale Tours on the East side! The winter months are the perfect time to experience the majesty of the humpback whales as they migrate through our waters. It’s an unforgettable way to witness the beauty of nature at sunset while cruising along the coast.
